Gobble Gobble Pastry

Ingredients:
|
6 Tenderflake Patty Shells (1, 300g)
1 pkg (113g) instant chocolate pudding mix
60 pieces of candy corn
1 pkg (144g) thin small peanut butter cookies (or any other small cookie)
Small amount vanilla frosting
Red fruit leather candy
Small amount of chocolate frosting in piping bag fitted w/ a small dot tip

Method:

Step 1 – Bake
Prepare 6 Tenderflake Patty Shells as per package directions. Set aside to cool.
Step 2 - Mix
• Mix the instant chocolate pudding mix as per package instructions in a large bowl, cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate.
• Once thoroughly cooled, evenly fill each of the Tenderflake Patty Shells with the chocolate pudding and refrigerate, allowing to slightly firm up
Step 3 – Decorate!
• For corn tail feathers, press in a row or two of candy corn. For wings, insert peanut butter cookies. For head, sandwich two cookies together with frosting. For cockscomb, cut fruit leather with pastry wheel or wavy craft scissors and insert as shown.
• For waddle, roll two 1 inch square pieces of fruit by the foot and insert them into pudding while resting a ½ inch on patty shell rim as shown. For beak, cut the white tip from a piece of candy corn and stick on w/ dab of frosting. Pipe a dot of chocolate frosting on either side of head for eyes.
• Arrange your turkey creations on a platter and watch your guests gobble them right up.
